Cosmit

In 1994 Massimo Vignelli with Dani Piderman at Vignelli Associates designed a complete graphic identity program, for Cosmit, the company that manages the Salone del Mobile and several other design fairs in Milan. The graphics program included including fairground signage and promotional materials and used their version of Bodoni “Our Bodoni.” They replaced the previous posters and brochures from Cosmit, by designing an A-4 size folded brochure. When it is first opened it reveals an A-3 size page and then opening it again reveals an A-2 poster size. The pacing of the information is controlled by the unfolding. In 1998, this graphics program was awarded the Compasso D’Oro award and it is still in use today.
